"Still Trustin"
AACCC strives to be a value-added organization to enrich our constituency’s lives and ministries.
The African American Christian Clergy Coalition also known as the AACCC is comprised of individuals of who have origins in any of the Black racial groups of Africa and believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and the exclusivity of Jesus being the only way to a relationship with Jehovah. We believe that a Christian is a person who has put faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The “Clergy” status applies to pastors, ministers, and all others who are ordained, licensed, commissioned and function in a equivalent denominational leadership capacity. For us, clergy are those who provide spiritual motivation, inspiration and guidance, and have the ability to conduct worship according to the form of service of their respective faith/denomination and perform other related functions associated with Christian beliefs and practices. As a coalition we align our ourselves to promote our unity in the Maricopa County Metropolitan Area in order that our individual lives will be enriched, our diverse churches and ministries will be strengthened, and the unique needs of our community will be addressed. Luke 4:18-19; Ephesians 4:11-13
And as the body of Christ, we believe that “The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, for God has anointed us to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent us to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
